Strictly Come Dancing star Angela Scanlon has shared a life update shortly after apologizing for her actions after being reported to the police for not wearing a seatbelt. The TV personality, who is partnered with Carlos Guo on the hit dance competition, shared a video of herself leaning out of a car door.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said in a statement: “I made the absolute wrong decision when I made this video. I was coming from rehearsals and I was giddy with excitement. That’s no excuse, because what I did was stupid and I’m sorry for letting my excitement get the better of my judgment.”
However, Angela appears to have put the incident behind her and shared a series of photos of herself with Carlos and her family, including rehearsal photos of her children, Ruby and Marie. She captioned the post: “Started and ended the day with my little women – calm start, chaotic end (I always forget that baby has access to things that just weren’t around.
“Our walls and her legs are destroyed!), as are mine for different reasons. The sweatiest, fastest, fullest dance I’ve ever done (we’re in week two, I realize, but it’s damn fast!). Thanks @ gkx_carlos for the hearty bites and encouraging talks and patience x PS we are doing LIVE. God help my pelvic floor.”
Her fans were quick to share their support, with one writing: “Sending you all positive energy for the rest of the week, you got this queen!” Another person added: “I hope rehearsals go well Angela! I can’t wait for Saturday. All my votes go to Team Angelos!”

Angela has had a great start to Strictly after dancing the tango with her partner and getting a 23. Sharing her thoughts on performing her first dance on the show, Angela wrote: “First week DONE!!! I’ve just had a roast by myself and some lay down. My head is spinning and I’m not really sure what the hell happened. What a night. Everyone was amazing.”
She continued: “I literally forgot how to speak. I was so nervous/stunned, so out of my comfort zone, so exposed, so ladylike. But I loved every second of it and thank you EVERYONE for the messages and comments on our TANGO!

When I heard we were doing this I almost threw up, but I actually liked being fierce, moody and fiery. Big thanks to my dream boat @gkx_carlos for being patient and kind and making me laugh without really trying – you’re one in a million. I’m so happy you’re in this with me and I can’t wait to unlearn everything and have you teach me a completely different dance tomorrow that has rules that completely contradict everything we learned last week.”
