Stuart Weitzman Introduces 5 New Ambassadors Including Christy Turlington and Lucy Liu: See the Starry Campaign!

Stuart Weitzman’s new campaign celebrates modern femininity with the help of five multifaceted celebrities.

On Wednesday, August 14, the luxury shoe brand unveiled former Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, supermodel Christy Turlington, actress and writer Issa Rae, actress Lucy Liu and model Ming Xi as global ambassadors. The star-studded cast is set to appear in the upcoming “How Lovely to Be a Woman” campaign film, premiering on September 4, and kick off fashion month in some incredible shoes.

“A celebration of modern femininity, the campaign aims to capture the pleasures and pressures of simply being a woman in today’s world,” the brand says in a press release. “When faced with challenges and expectations, it’s inspiring how time and time again women can choose to tap into their confidence and stay strong.”

In the campaign images, the five women wear a mix of everyday and elevated styles from Stuart Weitzman’s most legendary footwear families, including the 5050 Collection, the STUART Collection and the NUDIST Collection.

Earlier this year, Stuart Weitzman presented a spring shoe capsule with Sofia Richie. The model, who gave birth to her first child in May, appeared pregnant in the campaign, a dreamy campaign spot in which she reflected on her journey to motherhood.

“I feel like I’ve waited this long,” Richie is heard saying in a voiceover. “I am about to enter my next chapter. Sometimes I ask myself: Am I ready? But every day as I feel you grow, I find myself standing stronger. I am doing this and our journey is just beginning.”
