In 2017, during one of his shows, Sudarshan Rangaprasad mimicked Yash’s dialogues to show how people around him gave advice during PUC, but Yash’s fans didn’t take it well Taking these suggestions, he started bashing Sudarshan on the internet and even issued death threats. Later, in an interview, Sudarshan claimed that he had no intention of insulting the actor and it was just a joke, saying:
