From 2008 to 2010, he served as a merchant marine officer in an international shipping company “Gearbulk Norway”. Later, he participated in modeling competitions and VJ hunting shows. In 2010, he started his modeling career. He said in an interview,
Even people who aren’t that into television can relate to these model and anchor hunts, and even as a college student studying nautical science, I wonder why models aren’t given a chance. This was very unexpected and unplanned. “
In 2011, he moved to Bangalore to participate in the Mega Model Hunt and won the Best Physique Award in the competition. In 2012, he moved to Mumbai to model for Indian fashion designer Wendell Rodricks. He has participated in Lakmé Fashion Week, Wills Fashion Week and Blenders Pride Fashion Tour.
