Suki Waterhouse Says Boyfriend Robert Pattinson Was ‘So Accepting of the Mess’ When She Moved In with Him

Suki Waterhouse reveals what it was like living with her boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

In a new interview for Apple Guided minds: Type 7 In a podcast hosted by Gillian Sagansky that aired on Wednesday, Waterhouse spoke about how Pattinson was “so accepting of the mess” after she moved out of her apartment and into his space.

“I had so much anxiety because I moved. I wasn’t there because of the move, so everything was just packed and sent,” the Daisy Jones and The Six the actress told Sagansky after noting that she had enlisted the help of a “professional cleaner” to come in and help her organize her things.

She added that even parting with her plants was a personal challenge “because now I’ve moved in with my boyfriend, and I’ve always lived alone.”

As Sagansky pointed out that living with a significant other could be a “big move,” the model noted that Pattinson had no doubts.

“I don’t feel like some crazy thing. And I’m very happy because he accepts the mess and chaos so well. He never says anything about it,” Waterhouse said. “He kind of thinks it’s charming. So I’m very happy about that.”

During the podcast, Waterhouse said it “felt special” when she and Batman talent started dating because they met after she fell for the “celibacy gig”.

When asked what prompted her to abstain, The Love, Rosie the actress spoke of disappointments in past relationships as a contributing factor.

“I was like a ghost and I broke up with her after dating for a year, it was pretty bad,” said the model. “But it turned out great because I took it as a celibacy attack.”

According to Waterhouse, celibacy lasted approximately six months.

Before Pattinson, the London-born actress said she dated her fair share of red flags, including a narcissist and people who “just cheated on you all the time.”

“It’s really fucked up,” she added.

Sagansky asked Waterhouse if there was anything about her current relationship that made it more successful than previous ones, and the entertainer admitted that she’s in a better place in life now.

“Maybe for me it was that I actually felt ready in a way that I didn’t before, that I actually had something to give. I was sitting with myself – I was in several different types of relationships,” said Waterhouse, adding that she prefers peace.

“Now I actually have something to share. I have, like, a life that I’m proud of and I want to share it with somebody, I’m stable and I have my s— together.”

And when she looks back on her parents’ “difficult” relationship, that hasn’t stopped her from perhaps wanting children later, just not as much.

“I don’t think I would have four,” she told Sagansky.

The pair also discussed mental health, with Series Divergent: Insurgent the talent admits that she deals with anxiety, but that she usually manages the feeling with “a big cry.”

As for Waterhouse and Pattinson’s relationship, the couple is keeping a low profile.
