Imran said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was not progressing smoothly because of Suleiman. In an interview, Suleiman replied to Imran Khan saying:
Imran Khan does not even deserve to lead a political party, he has lost his mind. Why would I make the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor controversial? Why doesn’t he take his children to study in Pakistan. TV channels are showing footage of him from 3 years ago when he went for Umrah with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and he is currently in the country. “
