Summer House's Amanda Batula on Kyle Cooke Cutting His Mullet: 'This Is the Face I Fell in Love With' (Exclusive)

Amanda Batula just shared her thoughts on Kyle Cooke cutting his mullet.

At the 2024 Bravo Fan Fest on Saturday, Nov. 23, Cooke, 42, said of the new style, “It’s like I have air conditioning.”

Batula shared, “How many people DM me saying, ‘I can see why you’re attracted to Kyle now,’ or ‘Is he aging backwards? He looks a lot younger.’ Like, this is the face I fell in love with.”

Cooke then explained that the mullet was an “experiment” and that he “didn’t realize the mullet was aging me until I cut it.”

He added, “I mean, the beautiful thing about hair is that it always grows back.”

The Summer house the couple tied the knot in September 2021 after Cooke, 42, popped the question in 2018.

In the last season Summer house, the couple went house hunting, hinting at a possible move from New York back to Batula’s native New Jersey. But since teasing their possible move, the pair haven’t given much more insight into their next chapter.

A month before the Bravo Fan Fest, Batula shared with the network that the couple was looking for a “new apartment in the city” where they could “grow with the family.”

“We’re kind of focused on that right now,” she explained. “But there’s no pressure. According to Kyle, he’s been looking. So when the right spot comes up, we’ll grab it. Otherwise, we’ll have to wait for the pressure to build and we [have] move out. But right now we’re in the same place… We’ll probably continue to live in the city for a little while longer.”

“I’ll get that house in New Jersey, but don’t worry,” she said. “Just later. At some point, just not yet. I’ll be there, don’t worry.” She also clarified that she will settle in New Jersey, even if it means she and Cooke will have a long-distance relationship.

Although their move to New Jersey has yet to be decided, both have developed new business ventures in recent months. During the last season Summer houseboth have expressed that they are pursuing their passions outside of the Loverboy liquor brand, with Batula interested in swimwear design and Cooke becoming a DJ.

Meanwhile, Batula said she is “very excited” about her upcoming swimwear line, Amanda Batula Swim, with South Moon Under.

“We have three drops that we do,” she shared. “We’re going to expand more every fall and get feedback from people and learn from it and grow from it. Every time I meet someone or see a fan, their first question is, ‘When is your swimwear line coming out?’ or how proud they are of me.'”

The reality star added: “Kyle has been a huge help. He’s helped me with the business side of things.”
