Susan Lucci just returned to the New York Fashion Week runway.
The All My Children star walked the Dennis Basso Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show on Monday, September 9. The 77-year-old wore a couture dress designed especially for her.
The elegant pastel green bodycon dress included a strapless pleated effect, revealing her cleavage, and a sheer cape-like scarf. Her sophisticated spring look was completed with bronze open-toe pumps and dangling earrings. Basso called the set Lucci wore an “aerodynamic silhouette,” per The New York Times.

Lucci was invited by the fashion house to close the show and serve as the finale on September 9, as Basso, 69, wanted to mark the couple’s 30-year friendship, according to NYT. On the same day, she shared an Instagram peek at her wardrobe.
“Well, I’m just getting to fashion week. I’m so excited to be in the finale of Dennis Bass’ fantastic spring fashion show,” she began. “We spend spring here in September and I’m so thrilled to be a part of it. So excited that Dennis asked me to walk the runway with him and be in the final!
She captioned the post: “My first fashion runway walk!!!💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽. @Dennis Basso❤️. #finals!!!
Before returning to the runway, Lucci said yes The New York Times that NYFW 2024 is her “runway redemption tour,” in reference to when she dropped during Go Red for Women at NYFW 2019.
Her return five years later coincides with Bass’ partnership with QVC to toast the “Age of Opportunity.” The live shoppable entertainment company will feature pieces from Bass’ eponymous line as well as items from his shopping channel brand.
“This collection is inspired by our clientele that spans three generations,” said Basso, trans Forbes. “We are now dressing the original client’s daughter and granddaughter. Our customer is very sophisticated; she knows what she can wear. My goal is to make a woman look beautiful at any age.”

“Working with Dennis was a spectacular experience,” said Lucci, per Forbes. “He’s so enthusiastic and he’s so warm. I have known him for a long time and I admire his work. This was a wonderful opportunity.”
