Susan Olsen, who played Cindy The Brady Group, claims the revival series was cut because of her support for Donald Trump.
Olsen, now 63, recently appeared on WalkAway campaign podcast and made claims about a potential reboot of the beloved sitcom, which aired from 1969 to 1974.
According to the actress, the new series would see her and her TV siblings as adults and she would play a libertarian podcaster.

She claimed her agent told her, however, that CBS had a problem with her “homophobic rant” to a guest on her political show, LA Talk Radio Two Chicks Talkin’ Politics.

Although the former star did not name the guest she was referring to – and said the situation “was news that is fake news” – she was fired from the radio show in 2016 after openly gay actor Leon Acord-Whiting came forward after reporting on the argument in her show and shared homophobic comments she sent him Sup and Time magazine.
LA Talk Radio confirmed that she was fired shortly after, releasing a statement at the time that read: “We will not tolerate hate speech from anyone associated with our radio station and have severed our ties with a host who deviated from the direction we’re going.”
Olsen claimed she agreed to take the “political correctness” course, even though she has been “vocal” about her support for Trump and her views on the COVID-19 vaccine.
She claims CBS collected “50 pages” of “dangerous” statements she made in the past, leading to the “resounding result” that she would not be part of the show.

“Those 50 pages were like my greatest hits. I stand by everything I said, I’m not just saying things,” she said, noting that she “hopes to be a little controversial” about the supposed reboot.

“I had a phone conversation with mine [TV] siblings and my agent,” Olsen said. “Everybody was saying, ‘We’re sorry, but they just don’t want to budge. They just won’t let you in on this.’ I said: I’ve been canceled from a role I’ve played for over 50 years and now I can’t play it because I’m too dangerous good luck, I hope you can sell it.’ ”
Olsen claims she later had a Zoom meeting, which she describes as an “inquisition” with the showrunner, producer and her agent, where she was asked where she stood on “every single issue of the day.”

After claiming her agent told her there might be a way to “get around” CBS, she said she said, “No, I’m done. At this point, you’re going to have an awakening The Brady Bunchand I don’t want to be a part of that.”
