Susanna Hoffs Celebrates 65th Birthday with Gorgeous Makeup-Free Video: See Her Then and Now!

Susanna Hoffs isn’t sweating getting another year older.

The Bangles frontwoman took to Instagram just days after turning 65 to tell her fans that she’s not just a little older now, she’s also wiser – and she seemed more than happy about it all. She even did it while she was completely fresh-faced and makeup-free.

“I’m 65 years old. Time flies, but all is well,” she said in her sweet video. “No makeup. It’s going to be okay, being older is okay. It really is. Older and wiser.”

If it seems like Hoffs hasn’t aged a day since her band’s heyday in the 1980s and 1990s, that’s because, for the most part, she hasn’t. She further proved this fact last month when she wore a dress from almost three decades ago that she found in her closet, reliving a cherished moment from days gone by. Seeing Hoffs in the dress now and in the dress 28 years ago, it was hard to tell the difference between the two scenes.

“This is a dress I’ve worn a lot,” Hoffs told the camera as she showed off a beautiful garment in her closet, adding that it was “funny” to revisit it.”

In a fun ending to her Instagram Reel, Hoffs took her nostalgic video one step further by actually wearing the dress again.

“Oh my God, I couldn’t help myself,” she said after putting on the dress that meant so much to her. “The dress still kind of fits. I’m sucking my tummy a little.”

Hoffs also shared a carousel of photos of herself in the dress a few days before, including throwback photos alongside recent snaps, writing, “All you need is one good dress!”

The “Manic Monday” singer originally wore the “tried and true” dress for the appearance Tonight’s show with Jay Leno, which she showed on her Instagram Reel. Along with some photos, she shared a video of her band performing on TV in the 90s.

And instead of putting the dress away never to be seen again after pulling it out to show off for Instagram, Hoffs kept that trusty little mini in rotation, wearing it again in January and proving that all you need is “one good dress.” .
