Swapna Patker was born on Friday, April 16, 1982, in Mumbai (40 years old; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Aries. After completing engineering, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur in 2015. She worked there for four years and then served as a guest officer in various educational institutions in Mumbai such as St. Francis Institute of Management and Research, KC Institute of Management Studies, ITM Group of Institutions and Garware Institute of Vocational Education and Development. She subsequently founded Mindworks Training Systems, a health clinic and online counseling organization in Mumbai. Accused of having fake degree
In April 2021, Swapna was arrested for possessing a fake degree. Gurdeep Kaur Singh, a social worker, reportedly committed fraud when she received an envelope from an anonymous person containing documents related to her fake degree. Behavior attracts attention. Gurdeep immediately filed a police complaint against Swapna and she was arrested for possessing a fake degree. According to some media sources, based on her degree, she got a job in one of Mumbai’s top hospitals. Later, during the case hearing, Swapna said that Indian politician Sanjay Raut planned everything for her arrest. Swapna said,
The arrest was a “retaliatory arrest” as a case was filed against me for being stalked by a specific individual “allegedly at the behest of Member of Parliament Sanjay Routshiv Sena”.
According to the 13-page judgment of the Bombay High Court,
The applicant is a female. The continued detention of the complainant in the context of the COVID-19 emergency also deserves consideration. The petitioner claimed that she had a minor son who was supported by others. Since, in our opinion, the offense punishable with life imprisonment under Section 467 is not obvious in the particular facts of the case, the above factors persuade us to grant bail to the applicant pending trial. Consideration of this petition for quashing of charges for offenses punishable under Sections 467 and 468 of the Penal Code. “
The court further mentioned,
In view of…the elaboration of the legal position on the facts of the case, prima facie, the PhD certificate does not fall within the scope of the definition of securities. The prosecution’s submission that the inherent evidence of the doctoral certificate exposed the fact that the certificate was a forgery may have some substance if viewed against the background of typographical and grammatical errors in the patent. However, at this stage, the crimes stipulated in Article 465 can at best be said to have been preliminarily determined. As to whether it constitutes an offense under Section 467 of the Penal Code, it is a question worth considering. As the investigation is ongoing, we do not recommend delving further into this aspect. Suffice it to observe, whether the petitioner is guilty of conspiracy under Section 467 of the Penal Code is worthy of consideration and examination. “
However, on June 27, 2021, Swapna got bail from the Bombay High Court.
Sanjay Raut’s insult tape
After Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut was arrested in a money laundering case on July 29, 2022, his abusive audio tape went viral on various social media platforms. In the audio, he insults Swapna Patek. In an interview, when Swapna was asked about the tape, she said the feud between Swapna and Sanjay started immediately after the death of Indian politician Bal Thackeray in 2012. During the interview, she shared a series of incidents. she says,
After Balasaheb, the Shiv Sena also lost the support it had gained. Sanjay Raut started talking nonsense. He became a free bird and began to do what he wanted. He used to guide me every step of the way in life – don’t do this, don’t do that; If you don’t meet this person, you won’t meet that person. In 2013, I was attacked with a knife twice. I also registered an FIR at Mahim police station. In another incident, my car was vandalized in Vakola and I also registered an FIR at Vakola police station. So far, no one has been arrested. I still don’t know the identity of the perpetrator. Everything was manipulated according to Lauter’s whims and fancies. It took me 8 years to realize this. “
She said she never realized the 2013 attack on her was planned by Sanjay Raut. She further stated that in 2014, Raut became extremely possessive of her and hired an encounter expert, Praful Bhonsle, who had interrogated her family and friends. Praful even used to check Swapna’s activities on a daily basis. She further said that he even started abusing her for not agreeing with his instructions. Swapna later submitted a recording of the call in court, in which Raut used foul language against her. In 2017, even her Facebook account was hacked and a suicidal post was published from her account. She blamed Raut and his associates for this.

Swapna said the mental harassment continued to increase and in 2020, she started receiving video calls from unknown numbers on WhatsApp, with several naked men talking on the phone. Sanjay Raut is alleged to be behind all such activities as Swapna was a witness in the Patra land scam case in which Sanjay was the prime suspects. In an interview, when she was asked about taking some legal action against him, she said:
I have been suffering since 2013, I approached the police, the National Commission for Women, the National Human Rights Commission, the High Court; I have tried my best. I quickly realized that even the court did not consider this a critical situation and did not withdraw my case. I have nowhere to go. No one helped me and I was vilified every step of the way. I want to ask everyone, if a woman is suffering from such suffering, where should she go? All authority failed me. I have written to Uddhav Thackeray, Prime Minister’s Office, Arvind Kejriwal, Sonia Gandhi, Devendra Fadnavis, Chitra Wague, Subhash · Desai, Anil Desai. I’ve done everything I can. I don’t want to damage my reputation and career by making this public, but I have nowhere to go now. Twitter is a last resort for me. “
