Sweet Magnolias is finally back for a third season – and the trailer looks great! The series has been a huge hit on Netflix, centered around three best friends Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue who were born and raised in Serenity, SC, a small southern town where everyone knows everyone and everyone is know everyone’s business.
So what can we expect from Season 3? The official synopsis reads: “After a fight at Sullivan’s, Maddie struggles with how best to help Cal and tries to clear her own emotional path. Helen is faced with tough decisions to make. about the men in her life.

The new season will consist of 10 10-hour episodes, with JoAnna Garcia Swisher reprising the role of Maddie, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley also returning as Dana Sue and Helen, Chris Klein returning as Bill Townsend, Jamie Lynn Spears reprising the role of Dana Sue and Helen. starring Noreen Fitzgibbons and Justin The Burning Play Cal Maddox.

Talking about what to expect from Season 3, JoAnna told The List: “It certainly won’t disappoint Sweet Magnolias fans. There’s a lot of love and romance, and you’ll see the deeper side. in our friendship.

“For my character, you start to see yourself a little bit more. She comes out of the dark clouds of divorce and sees where she’s landed. Towards the end, you start to see that there was a glimmer of what was to come for Maddie.

“It’s been a really rewarding season because I feel like the first two seasons she’s full of energy with all the things that are going to happen with Maddie, and this year and this season, she’s had a chance to reflect. and becoming a better friend and a different and a little more mature person. It was a special season for me.”

She continued: “This season, you’ll see a deeper side of their friendship. It’s not always rainbows and butterflies, and sometimes cloudy days.
