Tahir Raj Bhasin is an Indian actor. He is known for his roles in the films Mardaani (2014), Force 2 (2016), Manto (2018) and Chhichhore (2019).

Tahir Raj Bhasin was born in New Delhi on Tuesday, April 21, 1987 (age 36; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Taurus.
At the age of 13, Basin began his acting career. At the age of 15, he entered the Barry John Acting School to improve his acting skills. He also attended an acting workshop with renowned Delhi theater personality Aamir Raza Hussain. At the age of 18, he hosted an NDTV youth special. He holds a BA in Political Science from the Hindu College of Delhi University and an MA in Global Media Communication from the University of Melbourne, and has published monographs on screen media, film history and film philosophy. At the age of 23, he moved to Mumbai to pursue acting as a career and joined the Institute of Advanced Acting and Behavior for a year. There he studied body language and behavioral analysis. In 2013, he participated in the summer intensive acting and dubbing training program organized by Naseeruddin Shah. He also participated in workshops with Jehan Manekshaw.

Tahir Raj Bhasin was born to a Punjabi father and a Kashmiri Maratha mother. His father is a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force. His mother worked for Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Aptech Computers.
He has two younger siblings; one of them (brother) is a Cathay Pacific pilot. His grandfather was also a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force.

He started his professional acting career by doing short films for Film and Television Institute of India (FTII); one of them was Nero (2009), in which he played the role of “Pig”. He then began working in advertising and appeared in television commercials for brands such as Samsung and Canon cameras. He made his Bollywood debut in 2012 playing the role of ‘Bamby’ in the film ‘Kismat Love Paisa Dilli’. He was in “Driving a Broken Car!” (2013)” as “Adult Ali Hashmi” and “One by Two (2014)” as “Mihir”. Later, Tahir played the role of “Karan “Walt” Rastogi” in the film “Mardaani (2014)”. Thereafter, he Starred in “Force 2” (2016), “Manto” (2018) and “Chichhore” (2019).
