Tajdar Amrohi is an Indian director and producer. He is the son of legendary film director and writer Kamal Amrohi.

In 1983, Tajdar Amrohi made his directorial debut with the film Razia Sultan. This was the last film of his father Kamal Amrohi.

Later, Tedal directed films such as “Ek Number ka Chor” (1990) and “Mera Mulk Mera Paigam” (2001). He has produced several films including “Shankar Hussain” (1977), “Hum Sey Hai Jahaan” (2008) and “Duniyadari” (2017). Legal action against Manish Malhotra
Tajdar Amrohi has reportedly threatened to take legal action against designer Manish Malhotra, who is set to star in a film based on Meena Kumari Kumari’s life biopic for the first time as director. He claimed that Manish Malhotra could not make a film based on his mother’s life without his consent. Tajdar also advised Kriti Sanon, who will be playing Meena Kumari in the film, not to play Meena Kumari on screen to safeguard the reputation of the legendary actress.
Tajdar later apologized to Kriti Sanon for his harsh remarks and clarified that he has not filed a lawsuit as the shooting of the film has not started yet.
Banging Kangana Ranaut
When Kangana Ranaut alleged that legendary actresses like Meena Kumari had also suffered the devastation of halala and triple talaq, Tejdar lashed out at her. Tejdal said in an interview,
Kangana is stupid and illiterate. She left school at 15 and has no common sense, which is why I will not take any action against her or I will sue her for defamation. ”
