Tamra Judge’s harshest critic is definitely her mom.
Since revealing she underwent a brow lift and blue chemical peel (a non-surgical skin-tightening and wrinkle-correcting procedure) on September 1, The Real Housewives of Orange County the star, 57, documented his recovery.
The latest update from the Bravo star came on September 2 (the third day after surgery and her 57th birthday), when she shared a video on Instagram revealing how her mom, Sandy Baker, is coping with her daughter’s plastic surgery.
From the looks of it, she’s not that good at it.

Judge shared screenshots of their message thread in which her mom wrote “Your face literally makes me puke” and “It looks so painful [sic] and you don’t look like yourself,” referring to Judge’s puffy appearance.
Baker also added, “One of my friends called and asked if you had a motorcycle accident.”
Fortunately, Judge has a sense of humor.
“I literally can’t stop laughing. You know where I get my empathy from, don’t you? “, she said in a video showing the messages. “I can’t, she’s too much.”
The Bravo veteran then explained that she was “only taking one pain pill,” which means “things are looking up.” Although she said her skin is “just a little crispy around the edges.”

Judge shared another video of her third day in recovery, which she called “the worst day of all,” though she saw some progress.
“I feel a little better today. I took a shower. Now I can turn on the TV. “Before, the noise hurt my head so much from raising my eyebrows that I just wanted to stay in complete silence,” she explained.
The clip then cuts to Judge walking around the kitchen looking to move because she hasn’t “pooped in three to four days.”
This isn’t Judge’s first time under the knife and her latest procedure is the finishing touch to a previous operation. “Seven years ago I had a lower face lift but skipped the upper one – like painting the house but forgot the decorations,” she wrote in an Instagram post shared on September 1.
