It’s on Saturday Empire star, 53, stepped out at the awards ceremony in a strapless black Giambattista Valli Couture gown with a plunging neckline and dramatic train. She accessorized with a sparkling Bulgari Serpenti necklace and Betsey Johnson heels.
She shared a closer look at her glamorous outfit on Instagram, captioning it, “Black Girl Magic.”
Actress — who was nominated along with her Purple costars for outstanding performance by the film’s cast — wore her hair in a side-parted updo.

At the SAG Awards, Henson continued the style streak she started during the promotion Purple and continued throughout awards season.
Last month, the star made a stylish statement at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, where she wore a chic and elegant look on the red carpet.
At the awards in January, Henson turned heads in a curve-hugging white strapless gown with a thigh-high slit and dramatic train. For hair and makeup, she opted for a chic bob and a subtle, neutral glamor look and added a touch of sparkle with lab-grown Pandora diamonds.

Taraji P. Henson calls filming the musical ‘The Color Purple’ ‘Empowering’
Also in January, the actress brought even more sparkle as she attended the 35th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala at the Desert City Convention Center.
On the red carpet of the film festival, Henson wore a bright green dress with a plunging neckline and dropped shoulders.
She wore it in a sleek, high ponytail and added a bit of metallic sparkle with her accessories – dainty earrings, chunky rings, and gold-embossed Malone Souliers shoes.

Henson kicked off her streak of hot styles at the film’s premiere Purple in December, where she wore a stunning Vlora Mustafa dress.
The elegant black and white gown featured a sheer corset, satin train and beautiful gravity-defying details.
And she wasn’t afraid to go bold with her accessories, pairing the dress with shimmering snake-inspired jewels and a geometric eye look, making it one of her most striking looks to date.
The 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be broadcast live on Netflix on Saturday, February 24, at 8:00 PM ET, from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
