Valentine’s Day shopping has already begun for Target shoppers.
Stanley cups have become the department store’s most popular merchandise after the food and beverage container brand released two exclusive Target Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumblers. The glasses come in Cosmo Pink and Target Red and are part of the brand’s “Galentine’s Collection”.
“Made for a gift, a card sticker is included while a tiny heart adorns the Stanley logo. With a shade of pink and the perfect shade of red, let’s celebrate your girlfriend by spreading the love,” reads the description of the glasses on Target’s website.

Although the holidays are still more than a month away, the $45 vacuum-insulated double-walled tumblers sold out online and at Target stores nationwide after first dropping on December 31st.
One video of the first drop, shared on TikTok by a shopper in El Paso, Texas, shows a crowd of men and women running towards a glass in the center of the store. The social media user added the caption, “Getting stomped on for the Target Stanley Valentine’s Cup.”
The comments section had mixed reactions, with one individual writing: “I love Stanley but I won’t do this for a mug.” Another person commented: “All for Stanley?”

Another TikTok video taken at a Target in Goodyear, Arizona, explained that the glasses sold out in less than four minutes. The video shows people of all ages rushing to grab one from the store’s display rack.
One TikTok user commented: “Stanley definitely knows what they’re doing. Everyone and their moms want one. IDK I still can’t imagine paying that much for a mug.”
Another commenter wrote: “Am I missing something? Is everyone’s goal to collect as many colors as possible or? Like what happens with the other cups you have? Do they retire every time you get a new cup?”
