Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Leave Christmas Day Game Hand in Hand After Tough Chiefs Loss

Taylor Swift walked with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, hand in hand after the Kansas City Chiefs lost their Christmas Day game at Arrowhead Stadium to the Las Vegas Raiders, 20-14.

After the game, Kansas City Star photojournalist Nick Wagner shared a photo on his Instagram Story of the two holding hands as they walked down the Arrowhead Stadium concourse. “I spent Christmas waiting for these two lovebirds,” Wagner wrote in the caption of the post.

Swift, 34, wore a black and gray plaid miniskirt, a red sweater, black leggings, her black heeled loafers and a black bomber jacket. Meanwhile, Kelce, 34, wore a Chiefs jacket and a white knit sweater with gray pants.

During the Christmas game, the Raiders shocked the Chiefs by scoring two Chiefs turnovers seven seconds apart in the first quarter. The Chiefs came close at the end, but couldn’t make a full comeback, falling to 9-6 on the season.

The sighting comes just days after Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was interviewed by CBS Morning.

“She’s at the top of her game, and seeing her drive and become that — Man, it’s really cool to hear about it and see it, and now I’m seeing it firsthand through Brittany’s and Travis’ eyes,” Patrik said in an interview.

The two-time Super Bowl winner revealed that when Swift and Kelce were first dating, “everyone kept their distance” and “just let loose [Kelce] do what he did.”

“That’s when he started bringing Taylor around and realized what a cool person he was, and he was, so there were a few jokes here and there for us in the beginning,” Patrick admitted.

But now, “She’s just part of the Chiefs Kingdom,” Patrick said. – She is also part of the team.

The quarterback said of Swift’s friendship with Patrick’s wife Brittany, “It’s great that she’s embraced Brittany and they’ve built a friendship as well,” Patrick told CBS.

“So for me it’s Travis, man, and he’s lucky enough to be with a great girlfriend and a great wife, and it’s been great interacting with her,” he continued.

Now that he’s spent time with Swift, Patrick said he’s “glad she’s the person she is” and added, “That’s why I think she and Travis get along so well.”

And for Swift’s birthday earlier this month, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife Tavia and daughter Gracie posted photos of the pop star holding a lavish gift box with the caption, “Taylor, from the Hunt family.”

Days after sharing her birthday tribute to Swift on Instagram, Gracie changed the post’s caption to reveal that her family had gifted the singer the perfect accessory for a pop star of Swiftian proportions: a Judith Leiber Couture microphone bag.

According to The Kansas City Star, Tavia also confirmed the contents of the box in a comment on her Swift birthday tribute. She also said the singer “is actually one of the kindest, most intelligent people I’ve ever met.”
