Calling all Taylor Swift fans in London looking for work!
The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) is looking for a certified British Swiftie to join its team and advise on all aspects of the “Shake It Off” singer’s knowledge.
The official title of the position at the London Museum of Art, Design and Performance is “Superfan Advisor – Taylor Swift”.
According to the BBC, the V&A is specifically looking for fans who can advise on the “fan culture and memorabilia” that Swift’s fans “collect and create” — with a particular interest in the friendship bracelets and signs worn by Swift’s Eras Tour attendees as she toured the world.

Swifties made and exchanged friendship bracelets at Swift’s Eras Tour shows as a nod to a line in her song “You’re On Your Own Kid” from her 2022 album. Midnight.
“So, make the friendship braceslets, take the moment and taste it /Y You’ve got no reason to suffer,” sings the pop star (34) at one point in the song. The practice has become so popular that even Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce got in on the fun at a recent fashion show in Sydney, Australia.
According to the BBC, The British Museum hopes to appoint its adviser for Swift before she begins the European leg of her tour later this year.

The V&A is also looking for Superfan advisers to provide expertise on Emojis and drag performance, as well as shoe brand Crocs.
Speaking to the BBC about all the superfan advisory positions, museum director Dr Tristram Hunt said: “These new advisory roles will help us celebrate and discover more about the huge, and often surprising, creative diversity on offer at the V&A, also because we it helps us learn more about design stories that are relevant to our audience today.”

The V&A hopes to find candidates who can share their expertise on “current cultural trends that will influence the future of museum collecting”.
For his part, Swift’s advisers are expected to “learn about the history of these objects and why they are relevant to art, design and the future of creativity.”
Eligible candidates can apply till March 7.
