Taylor Swift Has All-Star Hangout with Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman and Deadpool Director

Taylor Swift had an all-star reunion in New York.

On Thursday, Swift (33) was spotted arriving at a gathering with Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and their couple. Deadpool 3 directed by Shawn Levy in Manhattan.

Swift, who wore a black dress, tall brown boots and a Ralph Lauren baseball cap, was seen arriving with Levy, a longtime television and film producer and director who often collaborates with Reynolds, 47. Dead pool star and his wife Lively, 36, were spotted arriving separately, as was Jackman, who will be reprising his The X-Men the role of Logan/Wolverine in the upcoming film.

The group has been spotted spending time together multiple times in recent weeks, most notably at the recent Kansas City Chiefs-New York Jets NFL game to watch Swift’s new flame Travis Kelce.

Swift has been friends with Lively for years, but her recent sightings with Reynolds, Jackman and Levy are pending production on Deadpool 3, amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, some have wondered if he might appear in the upcoming Marvel Studios sequel. A source familiar with Thursday’s gathering tells PEOPLE the meeting was not about the movie.

“I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because it’s a double whammy,” Levy, 55, recently told TheWrap when asked if Swift would appear in the upcoming film.

“It’s related to Taylor. And it’s related to the MCU. I’m not a fool,” he said at the time. “You’ll have to wait and see.”

Levy, who met Swift through Reynolds and Lively, previously appeared as an actor in Swift’s short film for a 10-minute version of her song All too good.

“I’ve never witnessed and probably never will witness anything like what I saw when I went to a soccer game with Taylor Swift,” he recently told PEOPLE of hanging out with the pop star, adding that she’s “also a really fun person.”

It was recently announced that Deadpool 3 will not be released on the previously expected release date of May 3, 2024, as it has not yet finished filming. As Levy told TheWrap, production still needs to shoot half the film.

“I don’t even know if we are official [a release date]. I know we were supposed to be on May 3,” he said. “Of course, the actors’ strike and the long break in production put that release date at real risk. We shot half the film. I edited half the film. We are dying to get back to work and release this film next year.”

Jackman and Reynolds were already seen in Deadpool and Wolverine costumes in July on the set of the film in London just days before the Hollywood actors went on strike. Deadpool 3 is the first Dead pool a film explicitly set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
