Taylor Swift Performs Long-Awaited Mashup During Penultimate Eras Tour Stop in Toronto — Here's What She Sang!

Taylor Swift made her penultimate performance in Toronto one to remember.

On Friday, Nov. 22, the 34-year-old singer took the stage for her fifth show in the Canadian city and wowed fans with a highly anticipated medley of her songs “Cassandra,” “Mad Woman” and “I Did Something Bad.”

In fan footage posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), the pop superstar kicked off the surprise song portion of the show by singing her opening lyrics Department for tortured poets song “Cassandra” with the crowd screaming.

Swift then moved into her 2020 year Folklore of “Mad Woman” while performing a mashup on her piano, before ending with Reputation‘I Did Something Bad’ to a great reaction from the audience.

The musician’s rendition of the song comes amid Swifties’ anticipation for the star to make an official announcement Reputation (Taylor’s Version) sometime soon.

Among those in attendance at the Rogers Center show was Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who was spotted dancing in the crowd before Swift’s set began in fan footage and photos shared on X.

One night earlier, Swift ended her show with a long, sweet hug from her mom Andrea.

In a fan-shot video, the “Cruel Summer” singer was seen walking off stage and waving to her fans as her mom waited by the backstage entrance. Then Swift walked up to her mom and they hugged.

During the fourth night, Swift performed a medley of “Better Than Revenge” from Speak now“Mr. Perfectly Nice” from Fearless (Taylor Version) as well as “State of Grace” from red and “Labrynth” from Midnight for the surprise songs section.

At her show in Toronto on Nov. 16, Swift introduced Gracie Abrams for a performance of their collaboration “Us,” which she paired with her own “Out of the Woods” from in 1989.

Two days earlier, Swift reflected on her six nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, including album of the year for Department for tortured poets — an award she has already won four times.

“You guys have done something so amazing over the last few months,” she told fans on stage in a fan-filmed video. “I’m just thinking about what you did with the hug Department for Tortured Poets, album. It really blew me away because it’s really emotional for me that I wrote this album during the Eras tour.”

“I wrote that album, made that album, everything [while] trying to keep it a secret from you. And then [we] announced the album, and then we actually worked really hard to secretly put together a new chapter in the Eras Tour of Department for tortured poets and we wanted to surprise you with him, and we did,” she recalled.

After reflecting on the album’s chart success, Swift added, “And the last thing you did, because everything that happens is a direct reflection of the passion that you show, is you nominated this album for six Grammys. That’s so amazing, so thank you. ”

Swift’s final show in Toronto will take place on Saturday, November 23. Then the Eras Tour will officially end in Vancouver with three shows at BC Place from December 6-8.
