Kailyn Lowry’s family is growing again!
The Teenage mom star (31) welcomed twins – a son and a daughter – with boyfriend Elijah Scott, the podcaster confirmed in the latest episode Hardly known which fell on Friday.
The couple welcomed their son and daughter at 11:36 p.m. and 11:40 p.m., respectively, Lowry and Scott said. The babies were born five weeks early.
Lowry and Scott appeared together in a special episode of the podcast, where they talked about their experience of giving birth to twins, who were delivered by C-section, and their stay in intensive care.
The reality star said she cried with fear at the thought of a C-section, which she had never undergone before. “I was terrified, because I said, ‘I just don’t like this idea,'” Lowry admitted, adding that she knew she had to because her son’s backside hurt.

She said she didn’t know Scott wouldn’t be allowed in the room until just before they started the procedure. Lowry said she was worried for her life because she couldn’t feel herself breathing from the medication she was given.
Lowry also confirmed that she had a tubal ligation after the birth of her youngest child and only daughter.
“They cut my fallopian tubes,” she said, adding that she was surprised that women were being told they might feel a side effect of regret after the procedure.
“I don’t regret it. But also if I hadn’t had my fallopian tubes removed and I got pregnant again, it wouldn’t have… like it wouldn’t have upset me,” she admitted.
The podcaster also said that she would prefer to have an unmedicated birth because she doesn’t like the side effects she felt after taking the medication.
She also warned her listeners about being too active during recovery and told a story about opening her incision while doing housework.
Lowry’s last thoughts about the C-section, according to notes she wrote on her phone, were: “I hated every minute of it, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.” However, she added that she thought she had no major complications.
Scott said he was nervous watching Lowry struggle with the experience.
The couple did not confirm the twins’ due dates, but said they were six weeks old when the podcast was recorded.

“Now I feel like our family is complete — I won’t miss anything. I won’t feel like, ‘What if we had another one?’ I am excited to explore this motherhood journey in terms of privacy and posting what I want to post. I’m excited about it,” she continued.
“I’m a little nervous about four babies in one month. I don’t know what the birthday parties are going to look like, but I’m excited to see how this goes. Isaac will be driving before I know it, so it’s just a bunch of milestones at once — a lot new beginnings and also closed chapters, I feel.”
