Olivia Flowers Talks New Boyfriend, Says Repairing Friendship with Taylor Ann Green ‘Is Not Happening’

Southern charm season 9 ended Thursday night, but that doesn’t mean all the problems are wrapped up in a pretty bow.

During the 2nd part Southern charm reunion, Olivia Flowers revealed that she has a new boyfriend named Alex who lives in Dallas.

“I took Madison [LeCroy]advice on looking outside of Charleston,” Olivia, 31, told host Andy Cohen.

Alex even met Olivia’s ex Austen Kroll when she and Austen, 36, vacationed in the Bahamas with mutual friends in November.

“I told Alex, I said, ‘Well, you know you don’t have to be like best friends with him, just be warm,'” Olivia recalled. “And he’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, it’s okay.’ Then four hours later, I look over and they’re driving together in their golf carts.”

While Olivia may have moved on from Austen, she hasn’t forgiven Taylor Ann Green for kissing him.

“I was backing out because we had so many conversations that went badly,” Olivia said. “She lied to my face and I felt it. And Austen stepped in at a moment when I was very vulnerable and broke in, I connected with him and there were unresolved feelings.”

Andy, 55, pointed out that some people felt she had given Austen a pass, but not Taylor. “I understand how it looks like I’m giving out passes,” Olivia said. “But I really tried with Taylor, and it didn’t get me anywhere.”

Olivia then directed her disdain at Taylor, telling her, “You haven’t thought about me once this season.”

Venita Aspen shed some light on how the rest of the group feels about Taylor. “I don’t think any of us hate you,” she told the Day Chaser brand representative. “I think we are all very disappointed with your behavior and it has caused a huge problem with the girls.”

Andy ended up asking Olivia what she needed from Taylor to fix that friendship.

“It’s not happening,” Olivia stated, telling Taylor, “I’m not going to be friends with you, but I’m not going to make you miserable, I’m not going to be negative. We can move forward, it doesn’t necessarily mean together.”

SHEEP NEW NORMAL

Austen revealed that his and Shep Rose’s friendship had also recently experienced a rift.

“I hate not talking to you,” Shep, 43, said.

Austen said Average Expectations: Lessons in Lowering the Bar the author “thought we needed a break” after BravoCon 2023, where Shep went overboard.

“I think Austen was so loyal to you at BravoCon because he thought he might be the reason you’re spiraling,” Craig Conover said.

Austen still wanted to try to repair the friendship.

“I will always want to move forward with the friendship,” he said. “I don’t even know what that world looks like when I’m not good friends with you, Shep. Part of the thing here is that I’ve been a helper for a long time. I was a part of it. Like, we cut it with the best of them.”

Andy suggested that Shep and Austen find activities together that don’t involve alcohol.

“Maybe it’s time I kind of cultivated relationships in a different way,” Shep agreed.

Craig, 34, thinks that sounds “very wise” from Shep. “The three of us, we have so much history and we travel, we do everything together,” said the Sewing Down South founder. “But I think it’s important to find your new normal.”

Shep’s new normal was without Taylor as a girlfriend, something he began to question.

After Taylor revealed that she still “loves” Shep, he agreed: “I love you a lot too.”

Andy asked Taylor if that meant she was in love with Shep and she said “no”.

“I’d be lying if I didn’t say ‘I made a mistake’ recently,” Shep admitted. “You know, and I’m afraid to look back and say it like, the one that got away… so I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t the case.”

REVENGE OF THE VISITOR

Jarrett “JT” Thomas also lamented life without Taylor as a girlfriend.

“I actually fell really hard for Taylor last year,” admitted JT, 38. “And I’m not ashamed to admit it.”

Taylor called JT an “amazing human being” who was “fun to be around.” But when Andy pointed out that JT doesn’t treat her “like f—” and “you don’t like that,” Taylor admitted, “I guess not.”

Austen said he and JT haven’t spoken since JT hit him. “I didn’t get in his face, he got in my face,” claimed JT.

JT believed that he and Austen could fix things.

“I think we’re starting the process now by having the tough conversations, like this is where you hear what it means to be a genuine good friend and human, but you’ve got a job to do, bro,” JT Austen said. “It’s not words, it’s time, effort and authenticity. I want to cheer for you, but you have to be responsible.”

“I think I’ve been held accountable for a long time,” Austen replied.

JT called the reunion “freakin’ therapy,” but ultimately concluded that Austen wasn’t fully exorcized.
