‘Teen Wolf’ Star Tyler Posey Marries Singer Phem in Starry Malibu Wedding — See the Photos! (Exclusive)

Tyler Posey and singer Phem are officially married!

The Teen Wolf star, 31, exchanged vows with Phem on Saturday, Oct. 14, at a spiritual meditation center in Malibu, followed by a reception at Duke’s Malibu in the Ocean Room.

The couple kept the gathering — planned by Frankie & Louise — small, with 65 people for the ceremony and 135 for the reception, telling PEOPLE they wanted “the people we love there,” including “family and friends from all walks of life to feel safe and comfortable. ”

“We love the ocean and the peace. We always thought Malibu was very calming,” Posey says of their wedding destination.

At the ceremony, where guests included Bella Thorne and Avril Lavigne, Posey and Phem shared both traditional and handwritten vows, with a priest from Italy officiating.

The reception for the couple, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day earlier this year, was filled with different shades of green and natural elements. They even used the beach tree from which they got engaged in Cambria, California as part of the centerpiece.

Guests, including “a lot Wolf friends,” enjoyed a dinner of “the world’s rarest lobster from a remote island,” says Posey. They also served triple-layer lemon cake, Italian cookies and Duke’s famous Hula Pie.

As for wedding must-haves, the couple tells PEOPLE, “Good music, good food, lots of dancing and at least ONE Blink-182 song!”

Phem says it was also important to have a photo of Posey’s mom at the special event “so we know she’s there with us.”

The singer told PEOPLE that she wore an Inca dress by Grace Loves Lace, which she added was “so comfortable, so beautiful, and it fit my style perfectly.”

“The design and fit has a coastal beach feel to it. I didn’t want something too complex or flashy, but still classy and elegant. This dress really suited me,” she says.

She paired the look with Bella Bella shoes, which were “full of lace and extremely comfortable,” as well as jewelry by Belladaar and Stephen Webster.

For her second look, she was styled by Bianca Agrusa with Giuseppe Zanetti shoes.

The couple danced to one of Posey’s mom’s “favorite songs” for their first dance: “Come Away with Me” by Norah Jones.

They also had music from Disco Shrine and had “a few of our guests singing their songs,” shares Posey.

Looking ahead, the newlyweds say they’re most excited about “building a life, doing projects, making art and babies” in the future, as well as “having a best friend to laugh to death with.”

“[Marriage] is the ultimate commitment from which you can only grow,” adds Phem.

They are also looking forward to “relaxing in paradise” during their honeymoon.

“We got engaged in Cambria, California. Phem’s favorite place,” Posey told PEOPLE. “We spend every Valentine’s Day there so it seemed perfect to do it there,”

Phem added: “We were the only ones on the beach. I should have known when he leaned his phone against the rock to record that something was going on…but I had no idea.”

Posey designed the ring himself and incorporated Phem’s favorite color: green. “It was a complete surprise,” he said. “All my friends and loved ones kept it a secret and I designed the ring without her knowledge, so I’m so grateful she loves it!”

The couple began dating in 2020 after music producer John Feldmann asked Phem to write music with the actor. “We bonded over singing about our exes,” Posey said.

At that time, Phem was not looking for romance. “I got into it purely on business… I swear,” Phem teased. “What I like best is that we were friends first.”

But soon they fell in love. And after the engagement, their relationship only got stronger.

“I didn’t expect to feel too different when we got engaged, but it really did. The love was deeper and more confident and established. I imagine it will grow even more when we get married,” Posey said.
