Anil Teja Nidamanuru was born on Monday, August 22, 1994 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India (age 29; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Leo. He lived at his grandparents’ house in Vijayawada until he was six, as his mother lived and studied in Singapore. When he was six, he moved with his parents to Auckland, New Zealand, where his mother found a job as a dialysis technician at the Auckland District Health Board.
His parents separated when he was nine, and his mother later raised him as a single mother. From 2008 to 2012, he studied at Mount Albert Grammar School in Auckland up to NCEA Level 3. When he was 16, his mother returned to India and he subsequently lived alone in New Zealand where he continued his studies. Domestic – New Zealand
Teja Nidamanuru began training with Cornwall Cricket Club in Auckland at the age of eight and later played many games for them. From 2014-15 to 2017-18, he represented Cornwall-Auckland in the National Club Cricket Championship. He also played for Albion, Otago and Auckland.
He made his A-list (one-day) debut for Auckland on 14 November 2018 and his T20 debut on 13 December 2017. While playing in New Zealand’s domestic circuit, he shared the dressing room with many New Zealand cricketers such as Mark Chapman, Colin Munro, Lockie and many others. Ferguson and Glenn Phillips.
Domestic – Netherlands
After moving to the Netherlands in 2019, he played for SV Kampong Cricket Club in the Dutch T20 Cup and ECS Netherlands-T10 League from April 2019 to September 2019. In January 2020, he became a player-coach of Rotterdam Punjab Cricket Club. In the 2021 Dutch T20 Cup against VOC Rotterdam, he scored 104 runs in 42 balls. He also played with Australian cricketer Tim David during the first few years of his Dutch cricket career.

He played for Lanchester Cricket Club in Division 1 of the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League from April 2015 to September 2015, and at Hervey from April 2016 to September 2016. He caught the attention of selectors with his quick scoring runs in various Dutch leagues and went on to play a number of international matches for the Netherlands.

Teja Nidamanuru made his ODI debut against West Indies on May 31, 2022 and completed his first ODI half-century with 58 not out. His maiden ODI century came against Zimbabwe on March 21, 2023, when he was not out for 110 runs. In the 2023 ICC World Cup qualifiers on June 26, 2023, he helped the Netherlands equal the target of 374 runs set by the West Indies; the Netherlands subsequently won the Super Over to qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup qualifications.
