Teri Hatcher Was Kicked Off Dating App After Profile Was Deemed Fake: ‘They Thought I Was Pretending’

Teri Hatcher has been kicked off the popular dating app Hinge after her profile was found to be fake.

The actress hilariously revealed during a guest appearance on Grilling with Curtis Stone after being asked about her love life.

“I tried them all, and I tried my newest one. I tried Hinge,” she told host Curtis Stone while sharing that she “doesn’t meet people.”

“You know, I thought, I’m going to tell the universe that I’m open and vulnerable, and I’m putting myself out there. That’s what I thought my gesture was going to be to join that Hinge app. And then they kicked me off,” the actress continued.

What do you mean they kicked you out?” asked the chef.

“Well, they thought I was pretending to be Teri Hatcher,” Hatcher explained.

“They apologized and then I said, ‘I’m over it.’ Now I’m over it,” Hatcher continued. “I’m definitely done with dating apps and I feel like if there’s some way to go somewhere and meet someone, that’s what it’s going to be, but honestly, I’m happy. I have a really full life, a really busy life. I have wonderful friends. I , you know, it’s fine. I don’t need a man. I have a cat.”

While she celebrated her 59th birthday in December, Housewives alum stated that she will be following Jane Fonda’s “pretty good advice” about living on purpose.

Hatcher made the promise to herself by sharing a video of Fonda, 86, talking about what she experienced at age 59 during an appearance on Absolutely not podcast.

“At the age of 59, I decided that in order to know where I wanted to go in those last 30 years and how I wanted to end up, I had to figure out where I was,” Fonda said, noting that she “started being very intentional” with how she lived her life. .
