That Fantasy Suites cliffhanger with Bachelor Jenn Tran and Devin quickly hit it off at the beginning of the August 27 episode.
“I’m just a little bit suspicious of where your head is right now,” Devin, 28, told Jenn, 26, after showing up in her hotel room.
Devin told Jenn that he felt like a “safe option” for her. “Proposals are next week and I still don’t know where your head is at,” he said.

Jenn explained that she didn’t feel like she could express herself as well as Devin. “I don’t know how to be, maybe, what you need,” she told Devin.
However, Jenn knew how she felt about Devin. “I love you, you bloody idiot,” Jenn told Devin.

They exchanged a few more “I love you’s” before parting ways, and at the rose ceremony, Devin received his first rose from Jenn. Marcus got the second one, which meant Jonathan was going home.
“I think you were perfect for me and I wasn’t perfect for you, and that’s really hard for me to swallow,” Jonathan, 27, told Jenn before he walked out.
The creative director told Jenn that he realized his true feelings for Jenn during a walk on the beach the night before — but never got the chance to tell her. “I feel like the biggest idiot in the world because something incredible was right in front of me and I was too much of my own enemy just to see it until it was too late,” Jonathan lamented.
Jonathan was in tears as he drove home. “I could have done better,” he cried. “I could have done better.”

MEN SAY ALL
All of Jenna’s exes gathered in the studio with host Jesse Palmer. Aaron began by saying that he only told Jenn about people he thought wouldn’t be ready to be engaged before he left because he believed he and Jenn had established a “level of trust” with her.
When Brian questioned Aaron, 29, about who he thought had bad intentions for coming on the show, Aaron named Devin, Sam N. and Spencer. Aaron then told Spencer, 31, following his broken engagement: “It just didn’t feel like you were completely healed or ready.”
But Spencer explained, “You can still be healed and you can’t feel comfortable.”
Jesse, 45, also questioned Aaron about whether he gave Devin a self-improvement book.
“I wanted him to have resources so he could be more aware of how he was coming out, which he didn’t realize,” Aaron said.

Aaron’s twin brother Noah, who became engaged to Abigail Heringer after meeting her on Bachelor in Paradisehe found himself in a similar situation when he appeared in season 16 Bachelor.
Noah told Aaron from the audience that he didn’t approve of how the aerospace engineer acted during Jenna’s season.
“We were together in the womb, but I don’t think the book is the main move,” Noah told Aaron. “I don’t think anyone should tell someone that they are ready or not ready. We all have our own journey.”

Attention then turned to Sam N. and his decision to tell Jenn he loved her during the Thunder Down Under group meeting. N. himself explained that he did it to show Jenn “how much she means to me,” but admitted that he jumped “a little bit.”
“Love is not linear. Everyone has their own timeline,” said Sam N., 25.
KEEPING THE MAIN MAIN
Jesse questioned Sam M.’s tactics when he brought the performer center stage. “I’m watching all this on TV and I’m thinking, ‘I’m fighting,'” Sam M. said.
However, Sam M. claimed he “100%” loved Jenn when he told her so before leaving. The 27-year-old also denied claims he came onto the show hoping Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas would be the Bachelor.
“I remember telling my parents, I said, ‘I don’t see it going to work with any of them, honestly,'” Sam M. claims.
When Jenn took the stage, she didn’t hold back as she addressed Sam M. “We didn’t have any conversations and at the end of the day he didn’t know me at all,” Jenn said.
Jenn thought Sam M. was showing “blatant disrespect” to other men. “It was all about you the whole time,” she continued.
In addition, Jenn addressed the statements that Sam M.’s loved ones made online about how he fared on the show.
“You’re a grown man and instead of taking responsibility for your actions, you chose to blame the producers, the editor, the TV show, whatever,” Jenn said. “And at the end of the day, the man on TV was the exact man I sat across from the entire trip.”

Jenn told Sam M. that she wanted him to “get better” after going on the show. “But if you don’t take a step back and look at what you’ve seen and take responsibility for your actions and grow and learn, then I’m very, very sorry to whoever you end up with because of this fake world you’re living in right now and this denial won’t succeed to no one,” said the student physician assistant.
Sam M. thanked Jenn for helping him grow. “I definitely got lost in some of those moments right there and I wish I could go back and do them again, honestly,” Sam M. Jenn said.
Thomas N. expressed regret for interrupting Jenna’s conversation with Devin to speak with the owner of the trucking company.
“If you had kept your focus on me, maybe the trip would have turned out a little differently for you,” Jenn told Thomas N., 31.
