This is the story of a boy living in Oklahoma. The boy is the youngest son in the family. The boy’s name is Madden. He is 7 years old.
He was born with a complete heterochromia iridium defect and both lips were cleft. This is a unique case as only 1% of the population has complete iridium heterochromia and cleft lip is also very rare.
Heterochromia iridum means a person with two different eye colors. The boy’s mother saw a social media photo of a kitten with a congenital cleft lip and iridium heterochromia on social media. The kitten was saved.
A woman drove from Oklahoma to Minnesota to adopt a kitten. All his friends and relatives helped the woman get the sweet kitten.
The boy named the kitten Moon. The boy and the cat are now best friends. The cat lets the boy know that he is not alone with this unique look.
Both are meant to be together. This is a real miracle for a boy to find such a true friend. Both are miracles. They’re so adorable. A kitten brightens a boy’s day.
