There’s no love lost between Theresa and Kathy this week The Golden Bachelor.
Original non-Girlfriend Trista Sutter surprised the ladies in the mansion and assured them that the process “works” after 20 years of marriage to husband Ryan, whom she met on the show.
During a women’s chat with Trista, Theresa was the first to share the details of her first one-on-one date with Gerry Turner, which annoyed Kathy after they clashed over her boastful attitude in last week’s episode.
“This is something about Theresa,” the retired education consultant told the cameras. “I think she might be right for Gerry, but stop going into every detail about your date because there are other people here, including me, who haven’t had time with him. But it just can’t seem to find the off button.”

Group date
Ellen, Sandra, Susan, Nancy, April, Theresa, Kathy and Faith are invited to play pickleball with Gerry (72). When they arrived at the courts, they were in for another surprise when new bachelor Joey Graziadei was introduced as their instructor for the day. Gerry teased Joey telling him, “Just don’t forget, these are my girls.”
It seemed all fun and games until April, 65, faked an ankle injury to get time with Gerry. After snuggling up to Gerry, she admitted to the cameras: “I’m perfectly fine actually” with a wink.
Trista, who was also at the pickleball meeting, told the ladies that they would be competing in a doubles tournament and that the winners would be featured in Pickleball Magazine along with the Golden Bachelor.
After a fierce competition between four teams, Ellen, 71, and Kathy, 70, emerged as the winners, with both women receiving kisses from Gerry.

At the after party, Sandra, 75, opened up about her decision to miss her daughter’s wedding to take part in the show, telling Gerry: “My daughter and I talked about it early on. She said, ‘Mom, I have my guy. I want you to go get yours.’”
“I feel very flattered, but it’s a big event,” the father-of-two replied before suggesting they FaceTime Sandra’s daughter together.
Sandra joked that they were “too old for this” after they struggled to connect a FaceTime call but eventually managed to send their well wishes to the newlyweds.

Elsewhere at the party, Theresa also checked in, hoping to get rid of last week’s tension. However, Kathy repeated, “Please don’t tell me anything about what’s going on that makes me anxious.”
“I never meant anything bad or malicious. I was actually just trying to share with you how it went,” Theresa said of their past interactions, but Kathy insisted, “It’s important to be kind and think, ‘Gosh, is this going to hurt her feelings?'”
As Theresa repeated that she meant no harm, Kathy tried to shake things up by saying, “I have to tell you something. Gerry and I had a private date last night and he’s going to send you home. If that were true, would you like to hear it?”
Theresa replied that it would be good if that was the case because she wanted Gerry to find “the best person” for him. The conversation ended with Kathy giving Theresa some “friendly advice” to “cut it off.”

After their tense conversation, Theresa told Gerry about her fight with Kathy. The financial services professional admitted she made a “mistake” by being honest about her feelings and accusing Kathy of assaulting her.
“I’m really disappointed to hear that one of the women in the house would speak to another with such respect,” Gerry told the cameras after their conversation. “There’s no way of knowing exactly what happened. I haven’t been there, but there is this distraction that is very disappointing to me.”
Kathy then told Gerry her side of the story, explaining, “I didn’t come here to fight. We’re all here to try to get to know you and when people come up and talk about the deep connection they have with you, it’s painful for those of us who haven’t had time with you.”
After reminding Kathy that he gave her a “special rose”, Gerry said he was “not happy” about the rift between her and Theresa. She replied: “I’m not the villain here. We are all people of a certain age who have hearts and feelings. That hasn’t changed.”
When Kathy realized she might be in danger if she didn’t get the rose, she laid the blame squarely on Theresa. At the end, Gerry presented an evening rose to Sandra in recognition of missing her daughter’s wedding to be there.

One on one
Leslie admitted that she was “afraid” of riding the ATV with Gerry, but soon realized she had nothing to fear with him by her side, sharing, “I feel safe and cared for with him. [It] he makes me feel special… I know he’s got my back.”
She later told Gerry how she was looking for a “real partnership” after being twice divorced and a single mother. She added, “I’m here for you.”

“She opened up. She let her guard down – he said to the cameras after their conversation. “I think he gives me a part of himself. The feeling I have with her is a really warm, gentle closeness.”
“If things continue as they are today. I could absolutely see Leslie as someone I could walk out of here with at the end of the trip,” he added.
The date ended with Gerry and Leslie spending time together in the hot tub. He then gave her a rose and the couple kissed.
Cocktail party
The evening kicked off with Nancy, 60, revealing she had a stress fracture from a cucumber and Sandra feeling under the weather with stomach issues.
When Gerry arrived, he asked Susan to join him for some one-on-one time where he gave her a rose quartz crystal. He said that the stone represents empathy and strength. He added: “I think those two qualities you have remind me so much [his late wife] Tony. That’s the biggest compliment I can give someone.”
“That’s beautiful,” she replied as she burst into tears.

Meanwhile, Ellen realized she was ready to tell Gerry how she felt about him. She admitted nervously, “I’m falling in love with you, Gerry, and it’s hard.” The pair then kissed, and he agreed: “It’s hard, I know… I feel your emotions. I’m in the same place.”
After the conversation, Gerry reflected on “the last time someone looked at me like that and said those things to me.”
“The last time it was my wife of 43 years and when I lost Toni, I thought it was the end of the world and I didn’t think I would ever see him again, and yet I did,” he said as he choked back tears. “I see it and feel it.”
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Nancy had an honest conversation with Gerry about their future together, telling him: “I think you’ve kind of narrowed it down. [to certain women] but maybe I’m not in that group”. He replied: “I really won’t dispute that” before the pair said their goodbyes.
Rose ceremony
Gerry began the rose ceremony by telling the ladies: “This week has been quite an emotional rollercoaster. There have been exciting ups and downs. Saying goodbye to Nancy this afternoon was very difficult and the roses next to me mean more and more with each week and with each rose ceremony, but knowing all of you has made me a much better person.”
Roses went to Ellen, Faith, Susan and Theresa, in addition to the women who received them earlier in the week, while Kathy and April were sent home.

Before leaving, Gerry told Kathy, “I hope you find your boyfriend and your true love,” and she wished the same.
“I’m really sad to say goodbye, but I have to face the reality, he’s made stronger connections with some other women,” she admitted.
“I am who I am and people either like me or they don’t… And rejection is not fun. I mean, I might burn the house down before I leave, but you know,” she joked.
