Conan O’Brien can find humor in everything, including parenting his children: Neve and Beckett.

The former late-night host and his wife Liza Powell O’Brien had a daughter, Neve, in 2003, and their son, Beckett, followed in 2005.

On social networks, Conan often shares funny anecdotes about his children and jokes about the various joys of fatherhood. “My kids consider me their best friend, the one they rejected like a rock in high school,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in 2022

After graduating from Los Angeles’ Marlborough Private School for Girls in 2022, Neve began attending Yale University.

According to her LinkedIn, she studies history and is an illustrator for Yale Daily News Magazine. She also said that she is interested in performing arts and music production.

Conan and Liza welcomed their son Beckett on November 9, 2005.

During an interview with Absolute Radio, the former late-night host spoke about Beckett’s love of technology. “My son is like a little Steve Jobs,” he said of the then eight-year-old. “He’s very good at the computer.”

Conan continued, saying that Beckett decided to emulate Jobs, when his son’s school asked the kids to dress up as their heroes.

In 2018, the father-son duo attended the Bay Area Maker Faire and participated in a video discussing their experience. “Beckett was so upset about that… I was in awe of the ball you made levitate,” Conan told the camera as he stood next to his son.

When the comedian said goodbye to late-night television in 2021, he opened up about his decision in an interview with Vulture.
