The Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Holiday Trailer Sees 1 Star Vowing to 'Never Bake Again' (Exclusive)

Five of Hollywood’s brightest stars have gathered to wish you a Merry Christmas in another edition The Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Holiday.

The new installment of the hit Roku special is set to air Nov. 21, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal, with Anthony Anderson, Rob Riggle, Vanessa Bayer, Loni Love and Susie Essman joining the list of famous faces putting their baking skills to the test.

Like those who came before them, the quintet will descend on the show’s iconic white tent in the English countryside to compete in a series of festive baking tasks to win the coveted Star Baker crown.

Celebrity chef Paul Hollywood and restaurateur Prue Leith — both judges on Netflix The Great British Baking Show (in the UK known as The Great British Bake Off) and Roku The Great American Baking Show — will return again to critique their delicious treats in three rounds: a signature roast, a technical blind challenge and a surprise showstopper.

Casey Wilson and Zach Cherry they also return as co-hosts.

In the trailer for the special, which PEOPLE can also premiere, the laughs and holiday cheer seem to flow as famous Hollywood names enter the tent. “This is iconic,” exclaims Love, while Anderson sighs, “It looks just like it does on TV!” “The great thing about American celebrities is that they’re there to enjoy themselves,” shares Leith.

Some, it seems, are in it to win. “I practiced,” insists Bayer. “At the end of the day, that’s not what I’m here for bake friends.”

“Make sure I get all the shells out. I don’t want to give my boo boo Paul any shells!” says Love.

Prue Leith recalls embarrassing moment involving tea and Queen Elizabeth: ‘I’ve felt bad ever since’

But not every star is ready for a culinary competition. “I have no idea what I’m doing,” Essman admits Curb your enthusiasm star later joked, “I’m not going to win this, I’m telling you right now.”

He mourns Anderson as he tries to build a gingerbread-like structure: “The house broke! Oh God, this is shit!”

“I think it’s a really nice match — and by that I mean, not at all,” teases Riggle, after previously saying to the camera, “By the way, I don’t work in Celsius so I’m totally guessing here.”

“I’ll never bake again. That’s it. I’m broken,” he says at the end.

Paul Hollywood ‘can’t accept the portion sizes’ of American desserts versus British ones

As for the results, it seems to have a bit of everything. As he rates the roast from Riggle, Hollywood says he’s “blown away,” boasting, “That’s delicious!”

He is… less enthusiastic when Essman starts describing one of her cakes. “I’m making a gluten-free carrot roll with cream cheese filling,” she says—a Hollywood grunt of “Uh, dear…” and leaves before she’s finished. “Paul! Already? Go away!”

“That one is like a sock: you didn’t ask for it, but you got it anyway,” jokes Cherry.
