THE Inbetweeners could be back after the star of the hit coming-of-age comedy revealed that revival talks are already underway.
Joe Thomas, 40, who played Simon, said all the main actors would like to reunite a decade after the last film.

The actor indicated that another film was more likely than a new TV series, and would see the boys away from school – where the characters were when the Channel 4 sitcom began in 2008.
Asked if return conversions had started, Joe said: “Yes, it has been happening in different forms. We all feel it would be nice to do that.”
He revealed he is still good friends with the cast, including James Buckley (gross Jay), Simon Bird (posh Will) and Blake Harrison (dozy Neil).
He teased “some of the ideas out there” for the revival that include a Vegas stag.

The four boys would also meet at indoor football rather than in the school lounge.
But Joe admits: “Everyone’s concern would be, ‘Is it going to be that good?’ That’s what we would go in with.”
The sitcom — which also starred Emily Atack as Charlotte — ran for three series between 2008 and 2010 and gained a loyal following.
But it was the two films from 2011 and 2014 that brought The Inbetweeners widespread popularity.
The Inbetweeners 2, in which the infantile four traveled to Australia, broke the box office record for the first film by earning £2.75m on its opening day.
Simon Bird previously said he is still being shouted at in the street “briefcase w***er”, in honor of Will’s nickname.

However, Joe admits that the four major stars have finally embraced his success after appearing in a number of other projects.
He told the Always Be Comedy podcast: “We’re all still there, we’re all still in each other’s lives.
“We all still love each other. And if something came up, I think we would want to do it.
“I feel like we all still love each other very much.
“We’ve all been able to go and get various monkeys off our backs, in terms of things we felt we needed to do except for The Inbetweeners to prove something to ourselves.”
Since the last film, Blake has starred in dramas including BBC One’s World on Fire and A Very English Scandal.
Simon has moved on to comedy with C4’s Friday Night Live, while Joe is set to appear in Netflix’s Bear Hunt.
James appeared in Channel 5 drama Finders Keepers earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Emily, who hasn’t starred in the Inbetweeners films, has been starring in a number of projects and will next be seen hopping on Rivals for Disney+.
