A passenger crashed mid-flight because of a crying baby

A video showing a man yelling at flight attendants over a crying baby went viral in April.

In a clip shared on TikTok, an unnamed passenger enthusiastically vented his frustrations to Southwest Airlines employees mid-flight after he claimed the baby cried for 40 minutes non-stop.

“We’re in a fucking can with a baby in a damn echo chamber and you want to talk to me about if it’s fucking okay,” the man asked before the flight attendant told him he was “yelling.”

“So is the baby!” he replied. “Did that mother pay extra to yell?”

The flight was diverted after a passenger suffered from severe diarrhoea

A Delta flight from Atlanta to Barcelona made national news in September after it was diverted due to severe diarrhea in a passenger.

In a clip from an emergency call to dispatchers that was shared on social media, the pilot called the incident a “biohazard issue,” adding: “You know, we had a passenger who had diarrhea the whole way on the plane, so they want us to go back to Atlanta.”

The passenger opens the emergency exit and climbs onto the wing of the plane

A Southwest Airlines passenger opened the emergency exit and climbed onto the wing before jumping to the ground in November. The plane was still stationed at the gate of Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans before takeoff when the incident occurred.

A 38-year-old man was taken to a local hospital after deputies observed him to be “incoherent and not fully aware of his surroundings,” according to a news release from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. Because the passenger’s behavior appeared to be the result of a “mental health emergency,” he was not arrested or charged criminally.

The passenger discovered the floor under his seat soaked in blood

Journalist Habib Battah was traveling from Paris to Toronto in June when he found the floor under his and his wife’s seats soaked in blood.

The flight attendant passed him wet wipes when he asked for help.

“I started wiping and it was red — blood red,” he told CNN. “And it kept flashing red. I thought, ‘What the hell is this?’ I just wanted to see what it was. After a while, one of the flight attendants said, ‘You’d better go wash your hands, and here are the gloves.'”

When the pilot contacted Paris, Air France headquarters replied that the blood came from a man. The day before, on a flight from Paris to Boston, a man experienced what the crew, Battah says, called “bleeding.” The pilot asked for the area to be disinfected, but the cleaners overlooked the floor.

A woman got on a flight because she was petting a newly adopted dog

A woman was kicked off a Southwest flight for petting her newly adopted puppy in October, and a fellow passenger has spoken out about the incident.

Sara Price posted a video on TikTok showing the dog’s owner being removed from a flight to Colorado Springs after multiple confrontations with flight attendants.

Price told PEOPLE that the woman’s puppy “squealed a little bit” when “the lady from Southwest checking boarding passes flew over and said ‘if you can’t quiet that dog, you might not be able to fly.'”

As the woman held the carrier on her lap, petting the dog to calm the animal, Price said the same flight attendant gave instructions: “That carrier has to be closed all the way and the dog has to be under the seat.”

After the plane pushed away from the gate, the dog squealed again, so the woman “[bent] to pet the puppy again outside of the carrier,” explained Price. The plane returned to the exit and upon arrival, “attendants approached her and asked her to leave the plane.”

A plane falls 15,000 feet in 3 minutes

An American Airlines flight fell more than 15,000 feet in three minutes in August, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Flight 5916, which was flying from Charlotte to Gainesville, Florida, “landed safely,” the FAA said in a statement, noting that “the crew reported a possible pressurization problem.”

“Something went wrong mid-flight and there was a drop in cabin pressure,” passenger and University of Florida professor Harrison Hove wrote on X. “The smell of burning is apparently attributable to the use of oxygen tanks. The wing flaps came out to immediately reduce our altitude, so there would be more oxygen there. It was scary, but it turned out ok.”
