The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 Teaser Shares Glimpse Into Group’s Drama-Filled ‘New Beginnings’

The Real Housewives of Dubai is finally returning to Bravo!

Two years after Bravo’s eleventh part in Real Housewives first franchise premiere, viewers will once again be able to enjoy the glamor and drama of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, when the second season of the beloved cult franchise premieres on June 2.

News of the return was announced on Thursday, along with a short teaser featuring clips from the series, showing the Housewives toasting “new beginnings”. But the cheering only lasts so long, and conflict breaks out among the group.

Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Sara Al Madani, Lesa Milan and Caroline Stanbury will be back in front of the reality cameras again, and this time they will be joined by new housewife Taleen Marie.

All six were at BravoCon 2023 in November when the first episode of the second season was screened for attendees.

Premiere on June 1, 2022. RHOD offered fans an inside look at the rare Middle Eastern lifestyle of a group of friends living in the “City of Gold.”

Season 1 ended with Stanbury, 47, marrying her soccer ex-boyfriend, Sergio Carralla, 29, as the two discussed their desire to build their dream home and grow their family. “I don’t want anyone else to carry it,” Carrallo said during one episode, referring to their baby.

Stanbury also feuded with “enemy” Ayan, 45, as well as Milan, 34, who later clashed with his ex Ladies of London star during the two-part cast reunion in August and September 2022.

Brooks, 35, and Dr. Al Madani, 37, meanwhile, clashed over parenting advice. When the doctor offered some guidance to her fellow single mother, Brooks responded sharply “not to give me advice about my child or my marriage.”

A lot has changed since then – the biggest change being the new friendship formed between Stanbury and Ayan. The two were BFFs at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas, even appearing on a special BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen episode of “dynamic duos” together.

“The last time you saw me I wanted to strangle her,” Ayan said there. “But right now, to be honest, we’ve taken the time to get to know each other and respect each other. We’re still going through things, but, I love you.”

“Believe it or not, I think we actually grew up kind of alike,” Stanbury noted, with Ayan adding, “We have a lot of similarities that you’re going to see, which is pretty impressive and shocking at the same time.”

She explained in more detail RHODubai panel. “The difference between my relationship with Stanbury this season and what I didn’t have last season is the fact that there is respect,” Ayan said. “There are a lot of things that people will be able to see on the show that connect us. We have fun together, we laugh together. I call her out when I need her, she calls me when she needs to ask me out. We’re friends and we’re doing well. I’m friend with every person here.”

Meanwhile, missing from the group this year is Dubai housewife Nina Ali, who announced in January 2023 that she would not be returning for a second season of the show to focus on new opportunities.

“2023 has already brought me many exciting opportunities — including a new business in the making, a new home and new adventures — so for the time being, stepping away from the show will allow me space to focus on new challenges,” Ali, 44, explained.
