Mikayla Matthews is cool that she looks like the queen bee.
“I had it before. So when I first started TikTok in early 2020, I would get it all the time. Even now when I meet people, they’re like, ‘Oh wow, you’re Leighton [Meester],’ or ‘You look just like Blair,’ she says, nodding at the actress’ Gossip Girl character.
She is flattered by the comparison and adds: “I’m trying to manifest the encounter!”

Mikayla is eager for her fans to get to know her from all sides – devoted wife, mom and creator. She and her husband Jace have children Tommie (2), Haven (4) and Beckham (7).
“I feel like there are so many blessings that have come from being a young mom,” she said, noting that she welcomed Beckham at 17.
“That doesn’t mean it was easy, because it was the hardest period of my life. I got pregnant at 16 and had my son at 17. I had to go through a really critical period in your life when you figure out what you want before you go to college, and you think, “What do I want to do with my life?” And then I was just thrown into motherhood.”
“It was rocky,” she admits. “I feel like I gave up my first year of pregnancy until I had my son. But there were so many blessings from it and I don’t feel like I would change anything. I feel like I learned more. There are more pros than cons.”
“I started early, so I’m ready to throw them out,” she jokes. “I say, ‘Give me six more.'”
Although Jace has been a bit shy this season, Mikayla hopes fans will get to know him soon.
“My husband and I are very funny and playful with each other. I wish my husband liked to be on camera more because he’s funny. I think he’s the funniest person I know, but he’s rarely on the show.”
“So hopefully season two can… he’s like a little onion. We just have to peel him, and then he’s going to call people out,” she jokes, adding, “He’s going to cause all the drama.”
