Three seasons of the fantasy series written by Gerard Way have already aired on the streaming platform, starting in 2019. The plot follows a family of adopted siblings, who are welcomed into the life and home of a legendary billionaire. However, it was no ordinary life, as the children were raised to “save the world”.

Traveling through time, with super powers accompanying their journeys, the now-adult siblings are responsible for solving mysteries and overcoming global turmoil.

Season 4 has been confirmed to be the final season of the show. Main cast members Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, David Castañeda and Ritu Arya are all confirmed to return for the final season.

“Honestly, I really like the fact that we don’t have the power because Umbrella Academy it was never really about the powers,” Castañeda previously told PEOPLE. “The power was just a little spice [the show], [this season] de-escalated and became much more about, ‘Let’s just look at these people that we really like to joke with each other.'”
