Hilary Duff’s Husband Matthew Koma Thanks Her Exes in Funny Valentine’s Day Post: ‘You Don’t Go Unnoticed’

Matthew Koma made a special mention of Hilary Duff’s exes in his post for Valentine’s Day.

On Wednesday, Koma (36) posted a message on Instagram with a message for former boyfriends of actresses and singers who took pictures with her in the ocean for years.

The musician included a picture of himself holding Duff, 36, in the water, as well as two pictures Lizzie McGuire alum with former Ely Sandvik and Jason Walsh. To add to the hilarity, he labeled the location “Baywatch Lifeguard Tower.”

Koma even took a deep dive into his wife’s videography, adding a photo of a man fondling the former Disney star on the beach in her 2014 music video “Chasing The Sun.”

“This Valentine’s Day, I’d like to thank all the brave men who have saved my wife from dangerous oceans over the years,” Koma joked in the caption, adding, “You don’t go unnoticed and your fearlessness is celebrated in our home every day. 🧡.”

Duff, 36, briefly dated Sandvik in 2017 when she and Koma were on break, and had a five-month romance with Walsh in 2016. (Koma left Duff’s ex-husband Mike Comrie out of office. Duff married Comrie, 43. , in 2010, before they separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce two years later.)

“You’re really sick. Matthew,” Duff wrote in the comments on her husband’s post.

The How I met your father star also shared her funny post for Valentine’s Day, writing alongside photos of the pair: “I love you Matthew. The only thing I would change would be your milk allergy.”

Commenting on a photo Duff shared of Koma in a tank top, he wrote, referring to his Valentine’s Day post, “Looks like I could take you to the beach in that last pic.”

Koma and Duff tied the knot in December 2019. The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary last year with another cheeky post from Koma.

“We’ve been married 4 years today and I’m just now discovering that my wife thinks she’s a bunch of U2 Creed songs. I love you so much @hilaryduff,” he captioned a photo of the couple during their wedding.

The pair met while working together on Duff’s 2015 album Breathe in. Exhale. They were first romantically linked at the beginning of 2017, before going on and off for years, and eventually calling it quits.

“We knew we just had to be together because we tried to break up so many times, but it didn’t work out for either of us,” Duff told PEOPLE of her and Koma’s relationship in 2021.

The duo have daughters Banks, 5, and Mae, 2½. Duff is also mum to 11-year-old son Luca, whom she shares with Comrie, and is currently expecting her third child with Comrie.
