THE World University Ranking 2024 subject list

World University Rankings 2024: The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 by subject were published today. In the list of engineers, IISc Bengaluru has secured a rank of 101 to 125, but tops in the Indian region. Overall, Harvard University tops the list, followed by Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Oxford University and Cambridge University.

Country representation sees growth in 2024, but the UK and UK universities remain strong. For THE World University Rankings 2024 by subject, universities were approached according to five components: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international.

Indian Universities in World University Rankings 2024 by Subject

The list is most diverse at the top, with five territories: the US, the UK, Hong Kong, China and Canada making the top 10 in 2024, up from just three in 2020. Meanwhile, six new countries joined in the top 100: Austria, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, Spain and Turkey. Check Indian Universities Subject wise Ranking here:

The best universities in the World University Rankings 2024 by subject

California Institute of Technology ranked first in the world, followed by Harvard University, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cambridge University. In the arts and humanities category, Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Cambridge took the top three spots on this list.

In the category of business and economics, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Harvard University took the top three places in the world. Also, no Indian university has managed to earn a place in the list of law courses.
