During the fan event, Thompson and Ha revealed to the people that none of them asked for advice from previous potentials – and both have similar reasons for why.

“I was tempted to ask,” Thompson, 36, said about the counseling of his predecessors, Bailey, Newton and Regé-Jean. “I was tempted and then I thought, no, I’ll just find out – how I want, how I feel, how I feel.”

His love interest ha, 27, agreed, saying to the people, “Somehow I wanted to just feel this journey for myself and somehow I understand the wars.”

Thinking about how the “personal” role felt, Thompson said, “I think a incredible book could be written about how they all did it because it is so personal. And so much talks about that person.

“It’s the beauty of the show,” he noticed. “A different taste [each season]. ”
