Haddish previously revealed to PEOPLE in April that she had been sober and celibate for at least six months after being arrested on suspicion of DUI in Georgia and Los Angeles. However, despite her world “falling apart”, she said it taught her important life lessons.

“I haven’t had a drink since [the incident]. “When I lay back in bed and look at my life, everything crazy that happened was because someone or I had alcohol in my system,” she told PEOPLE at the time.

“You’ll get your stolen body back, you’ll see your relationships improve, and you’ll stop dealing with people you don’t need to deal with,” she added.
