Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes are currently playing in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament

Tim McGraw took a moment to recognize one of Iowa’s finest while in the state on a recent tour.

McGraw, who is currently touring the country on his Standing Room Only Tour, performed Friday at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. For the fashion show, he wore no. 22 University of Iowa basketball jersey honoring the school’s record-breaking athlete Caitlin Clark.

56-year-old he shared the photo from his appearance on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing, “When I was in Iowa… I had to represent! Big year for @CaitlinClark22 and @IowaWBB.”

McGraw paired the black jersey with jeans and, of course, a cowboy hat.

Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes are currently playing in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament — AKA March Madness. The Hawkeyes won their first-round game against Holy Cross on Saturday, 91-65. Clark, 22, contributed 27 points.
