Timothée Chalamet once again turned on his inner Bob Dylan.
The actor, 29, pulled double duty at Saturday Night Live on January 25, acting as host and musical guest.
During his first musical performance, Chalamet channeled Dylan, 83, who he portrays in his latest film, Completely unknownsinging the honeycomb “Outlaw Blues” and “Three Angels.” Later in the evening, Chalamet did the same as he returned to the stage to perform “Tomorrow Is Long.”
During his opening monologue, Chalamet detailed that he chose those specific songs because they are his “personal favorites.”

Set in New York in the early 60s, Completely unknown Make sense of four years of Dylan’s life, as the 19-year-old from Minnesota becomes one of the most celebrated singer/songwriters in history.
In the biopic, Chalamet sings as Dylan, performing popular songs such as “Mr. Tambourine Man”, “Blowin’ in the Wind”, “The Times They Are a Change” and “Hard Rain is the Fall of A-Gonna”.

In the recent Valling stone Cover Story Chalamet opened up about preparing to take on the role of Dylan by working with a vocal coach, dialect coach, guitar teacher and movement coach.
“Your he can’t Recreate it in the studio,” he told the publication. “If I was singing on a pre-recorded guitar, suddenly I could hear the lack of hand movement in the voice.”

Chalamet also recently opened up to People about the transformation he went through to play Dylan Completely unknown.
“The whole thing was really just kind of a magical experience,” the star said. “I don’t want to destroy her with words because, really, it’s deeply personal to me.”
AND Dune and Wonka The actor added: “I can say that just being in that time period was great and living it.”
