Timothée Chalamet has grown up – at least according to his facial hair.
The 28-year-old actor appeared in the December 12 episode The Late Show with Stephen Colbert with his latest look, a thin mustache and normally long curly hair cut into shorter, shaggy hair.
Chalamet’s appearance drew attention as his age was discussed, and it all started with a deep conversation about Bob Dylan.
While discussing his age in his upcoming film Complete unknown with host Stephen Colbert — where Chalamet plays Dylan in the 1960s — the actor noted that he’s actually older than the musician was at the time. It all came down to production delays in filming, as Chalamet was supposed to start working on the film almost five years ago, but it wasn’t finished until this year.
Alas, Colbert joked with Chalamet and the audience that it just makes the (still pretty young) actor “old.”
Timothée Chalamet shared the first covers of Bob Dylan, responded to the musician’s tweet about his role in the biopic: ‘Thank you Bob’
The Call me by your name Star laughed and pointed to his moustache, telling the host, “I’ve got a little something now.”
Further noting that his facial hair signifies growing into a man, Chalamet told Colbert, “The first time I was here, I wasn’t a teenager, and now my voice has changed. And now I’ll probably be playing The Rock in his next biopic. ”

Chalamet’s mustache — which has drawn mixed opinions from his fans (some love it, some are ready for it) — is actually for his role in another film, Marty Supreme. He said Extra December 10 in Complete unknown premiere that he’s “mostly done” with the project, but not “100% done” with the project, which is why he’s still rocking the mustache.
As for how he really feels about facial hair? It’s safe to say that he might not be a true fan.
“It’s different,” he said of his feelings. – That was diplomatic.
Directed by Josh Safdie Marty SupremeChalamet plays ping-pong player Marty Reisman. Gwyneth Paltrow also stars in the film.
