Todd Murphy is an Australian cricketer who plays primarily as a bowler for the Australian team. Murphy is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-spin bowler who plays domestically for Sydney Sixers and Victoria Second XI. He was awarded the cap for Australia against India in the opening match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India on 9 February 2023. Todd Murphy was born on Wednesday, November 15, 2000, in Echuca, Victoria, Australia (22 years old; as of 2022). His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Todd’s father is from Mathura in rural New South Wales, where he grew up before settling in Moama. Todd grew up in the town of Moama, New South Wales, Australia. On April 3, 2021, Murphy made his first appearance for Victoria in the 2020-21 Sheffield Shield season. In his second first-class match, Todd made seven dismissals and scored 24 runs as Victoria won the match against Tasmania. Todd Murphy is regarded as the most prolific spinner in the 2022-23 Sheffield Shield season and is widely regarded as the heir apparent to Nathan Lyon.
