Tom Holland and His Brother Harry Launch Their Own Production Company: 'Diving Into the Deep End'

Tom Holland is making strides in the film industry.

Holland, 28, is expanding his relationship with Sony Pictures by signing a film development deal with the company through his new production company Billy17, which he recently formed with his brother Harry Holland and producer Will South.

Tom, his brother Harry (the couple have two other brothers, Sam and Paddy) and South plan to launch their own production company by developing an original project called Burnedwith Oscar-winning director Rodney Rothman (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) is writing his script. The film is “intended as the main vehicle” for Uncharted actor, according to the press release.

In addition, Billy17 is preparing to adapt the novel Project Rosie for Sony’s TriStar Pictures and the adaptation of another novel, Winnerthe latter of whom is also expected to play Tom.

“I’ve had an incredibly happy and successful relationship with Sony Pictures for nearly a decade, so they felt like the perfect partner to launch our production company with,” Tom said in a statement. “I’ve had the ambition to take this step for some time and we’re incredibly excited to bring fun, re-watchable films to the big screen. This is hope for us, and it starts with Burnedan idea that’s been sitting in our heads for a few years, and for Rodney to put pen to paper on our most ambitious project is incredible. We’re diving deep into the end here and we’re extremely excited about what’s next.”

Sony recently shared that it is the fourth Spider-Man the movie starring Tom is scheduled to be released on July 24, 2026. The movie will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).

Holland has only appeared in two films since he last played Peter Parker in 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Home. In 2022, he appeared in Uncharted and Last call; he also starred in the Apple TV+ series 2023 A crowded room.

After starring in the production Romeo and Juliet in London last summer, the actor seems set to make more films in the next year; was cast in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film earlier this year and confirmed during an appearance on Tonight’s show in October which Spider-Man 4 filming will begin in the summer of 2025.

Multiple reports indicate that director Nolan, 54, is aiming to shoot his upcoming untitled film in early 2025. The film, which also stars Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o and Tom’s girlfriend Zendaya, is also expected in cinemas in July 2026.
