Tori Spelling Describes 'Transformational' Dancing with the Stars Experience After Elimination: 'This Is the Point' (Exclusive)

Tori Spelling’s journey continues Dancing with the stars it does not end with its elimination.

Just moments after America voted her off the show, The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 51, exclusively told PEOPLE that she feels her newfound love for dance is just “beginning” despite her departure.

“I dipped my toes into something that was transformative for me personally, so I’m excited to continue,” she explained. “Obviously, he won’t be in this ballroom for a week, but I won’t stop.”

The actress shared how she had “so many fears, self-doubt and insecurities” before she decided to take the leap and sign up for the competitive dance show.

“I never believed that I was good enough or that I deserved much, and that’s the opposite of what I try to teach my kids,” she continued. “I tell them how much they deserve and they can do whatever they want. Then I say, ‘Wait, I’m telling them that, but I’m not living it.’ So this was a conscious choice to say, “You know what? This is the point.'”

“In my life, everything is kind of burned to the ground in my life, not my kids, but personally with other things. And this is the moment to walk a little bit. No. Talk walk, walk talk,” she added.

In the episode of September 24 DWTShosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced that Spelling and fellow contestant Anna Delvey had been eliminated from the competition.

When asked about her “amazing journey” on the show, Spelling joked that she planned to “stay here” before telling her children, who were watching in the audience, “I love you, you can do whatever you want.”

When her team received another offer, Spelling decided to jump at the chance despite it being “literally one of my biggest fears in life.”

“Watch it with my kids. Watched every season,” she continued. “So I’m fighting my fears. I’m a work in progress. So I said yes to something that was one of my biggest fears… I’m very grateful to the friends in my life and family who told me: We believe in you .”

Dancing with the stars airs Tuesdays at 8pm ET on ABC and can be streamed the following day on Disney+ and Hulu.
