It suits you, Ster…

Raheem Sterling’s possible move to Arsenal could suit everyone.

Sky Sports News chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol explained why the Chelsea striker would be so keen on joining the title winners.

He said: “Raheem Sterling is not only motivated by money, that’s why he never intended to move to Saudi Arabia or the Scottish Premiership.

“Arsenal is an attractive destination for him – an exemplary club, which is fighting for titles, in the Champions League.

“And what’s really important, Raheem Sterling’s family is based in London.

“The proposal has now been presented to him and he is seriously considering it. In the last few minutes I have received a message saying that the talks are progressing and that real progress is being made.

“Someone on the other side of the deal thought Raheem would move away from Chelsea.

“He’s still 29, he feels he has a lot to offer – he wants to get back to his best, play at the highest level again. His ultimate ambition is to win a few more trophies and get back into his England team.”
