Travis and Jason Kelce Praise Taylor Swift for Chugging Her Drink at the Super Bowl: ‘Not Her First Rodeo’ 

Travis and Jason Kelce adored Taylor Swift’s viral drink at the 2024 Super Bowl.

NFL players talked about that moment New heights podcast, in which the “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, was introduced on the jumbotron at Allegiant Stadium and began sipping her drink alongside her friend Ashley Avignone.

“I’m not going to lie, at first I didn’t know what was going on,” Jason, 36, recalled. “I was sitting behind them and I saw them go to get a drink and then ‘Oh, oh this is happening. Pant. Pant.’ She got plastered, she’s pretty cool.”

“This was on the Jumbotron, nice,” Travis, 34, interjected as he watched the video, before adding: “Oh, and the kick down!”

Travis then went on to praise his girlfriend, who he noted had experience with such things.

“She’s done it before,” Travis said. “She’s a professional.”

“I mean, not her first rodeo,” Jason added jokingly.

Jason noted elsewhere in the podcast that Swift didn’t seem to mind the star-studded event and the cavalcade of celebrities who stopped by their suite to say hello Midnight artist. She was seen at the game cheering on the Chiefs in her suite alongside Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, Keleigh Sperry and Miles Teller, and met several other celebrities, including Shaquille O’Neal and Paul McCartney.

“It turns out everyone wants to meet Taylor,” he said of the celebrities who came into their suite to meet her. “I think it was my first [time] he really understands … some of the things he has to deal with on a lot of grounds.”

He added that “the celebrity attendance was pretty unreal.”

“It’s the Vegas Super Bowl kid, the stars are out. You gotta love it, man,” Travis replied. “Taylor thrives in these situations, she’s been in them countless times in her life.”

Swift had plenty of other viral moments during the game and at the after party with boyfriend Travis and the rest of the Chiefs following their Super Bowl win. The pair were seen serenading each other to some of the singer’s hits (including “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me”), enjoying a bite to eat at the club at five in the morning and sharing a kiss on the court, of course.
