Travis Barker Pays Tribute to ‘Beautiful’ Daughter Alabama on Her 18th Birthday: ‘My Baby Is All Grown Up’

Travis Barker celebrates his daughter Alabama’s birthday!

The Blink-182 drummer, 48, posted a touching tribute to Alabama as she turned 18 on Sunday. “Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter. I can’t believe my child is 18 and already grown,” he wrote on Instagram, alongside a series of Alabama photos from the past few years.

“Being your dad is the greatest joy in the world,” he continued. “May love and all your loved ones surround you today and forever!”

Barker added: “So proud of you and love you so much @alabamaluellabarker ❤️.”

Alabama Barker shares sweet message from ‘Best Dad’ Travis: ‘You’re my everything’

Barker and Alabama – who he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler – enjoy a close relationship. Back in September, the teenager shared a sweet note her father wrote on a note.

“You are my everything,” the message read, according to a screenshot of Alabama’s Instagram Story post captured by E! News at the time.

The teenager wrote to her dad in a text over the picture, “Yours [sic] really the best dad.”

Barker also shares son Landon, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with Moakler, and he and wife Kourtney Kardashian welcomed son Rocky Thirteen on November 1.

Alabama recently opened up about her health after facing body shaming comments stemming from some paparazzi photos. In a candid video on TikTok in August, she revealed that she has an autoimmune disease and a thyroid problem that has resulted in weight gain.

“The paparazzi will deliberately take pictures of you with your mouth open, in mid-sentence and any ugly picture they can get of you just for the look,” she said in the clip as she applauded the critics.

“I’d love to see people take random pictures of you walking out of the store, mid-sentence, with your mouth wide open… and let’s see how beautiful you look,” she continued.

After explaining the medical conditions that contributed to her weight gain, Alabama said, “So, it would be greatly appreciated if you could keep your opinion to yourself.”

She also expressed her hope that young girls who watch her video will never “think there’s something wrong” with “gaining weight” or weight fluctuations.

“There’s a certain point where if it’s affecting your health, you have to change it, but no… That’s not the case for me and I’d appreciate it if you put yourself in my shoes,” she added.
