Travis Kelce and Christian McCaffrey Team Up for New Lowe's Commercial: Watch the Unreleased Ad (Exclusive)

Travis Kelce and Christian McCaffrey may play for different teams, but they’re working together off the court in Lowe’s new campaign.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and San Francisco 49ers running back star alongside Dallas Cowboys running back Dak Prescott and Houston Texans running back CJ Stroud, in a new campaign for the home improvement giant called “All the Ways We Help”.

The commercial, premiering exclusively with PEOPLE (above), opens with a funny moment between McCaffrey and Kelce, who are facing off in the 2024 Super Bowl.

McCaffrey tries to ask a sales associate where he can find lawn mowers, while Kelce repeatedly drowns out his question with the sound of the power drill he’s holding. Despite Kelce’s interference and McCaffrey’s frustration, the recruit manages to find the pass count he needs.

The 15- and 30-second TV spots, which focus on ways homeowners are “getting on top of their home projects,” will premiere on Monday, Sept. 2 and will run throughout the 2024 NFL season.

Kelce, who manages to deliver a comedic impression without actually delivering a line, has been with Lowe’s since 2021. He told PEOPLE in a statement, “I’m proud of the work we’ve been able to do together to improve our communities — in Kansas City and more broadly, it’s been a great experience to continue working with Lowe’s associates and the in-house team to help where I can.”

McCaffrey also praised the partnership in his own statement to PEOPLE.

“On and off the field, I want to be the best I can be,” he said. “Off the field, it shows in my community. Being part of the Lowe’s Home team for several years now has given me the true honor of helping those in need — while being helped by Lowe’s associates. I am happy to continue my partnership with Lowe’s.”

This is not the first time that three of the aforementioned NFL stars have joined forces with the brand. In 2023, Kelce, McCaffrey and Prescott appeared in another ad, which featured the trio of athletes stepping up their game while working at a Lowe’s store.

Kelce and McCaffrey also met in February, after Super Bowl LVIII.

Just over two weeks after the Chiefs beat the 49ers in the big game, both players happened to be dining at Nobu in Malibu on the same night. McCaffrey, who was with his then-fiancée, now-wife Olivia Culpo, was seated apart from Kelce.

Travis and his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, made headlines earlier this week when they signed a landmark $100 million deal with Amazon’s Wondery to distribute their podcast New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Wondery for the next phase New heights” the Ohio native said in a statement when the contract was announced on Tuesday, August 27th. “We love this series and the fan base that has grown with us over the past two seasons.”

The podcast, which debuted in September 2022, gained a new audience after Travis’ highly publicized relationship with Taylor Swift began last year.

“We will create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership,” the brothers said in a press release.
